After soaking in the beauty and history of the fort, travel onward to Udaipur, also known as the ‘Lake City,’ where you’ll enjoy a visit to the grand City Palace, overlooking the serene Lake Pichola.

Embark on your journey to India, a land rich in diverse cultures and religions, where guests are treated with utmost reverence, in line with the teachings of our elders. Upon your arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be greeted with a warm traditional garland. Our representative will be there to welcome you and accompany you to your pre-arranged hotel. At the hotel, they will assist you with the check-in process and provide you with a travel document kit containing all the essential information for your stay. Relax and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay at your hotel.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, our guide will meet you in the lobby to begin your full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Your journey starts with a visit to the Qutub Minar, a stunning architectural masterpiece and the tallest monument in India. This impressive structure once served as a watchtower to monitor the surrounding area. It is said to have been built to demonstrate the power of Qutubuddin Aibak and the Mughal rulers. You’ll also see the Iron Pillar from Ashoka’s time, which remains rust-free even after 1,500 years.

Next, you’ll be driven through New Delhi, established by the British during their rule. You’ll pass through the Diplomatic Enclave (embassy area), government buildings such as the President’s Palace, Red Fort, Parliament House, and India Gate, a war memorial. Visit the renowned Bangla Sahib Gurdwara, dedicated to Guru Harkrishen Sahib, and learn about its history as the former residence of Mirza Raja Jai Singh. You will also stop at the Birla Temple (Laxmi Narayan Temple) and Connaught Place.

After a lunch break at a local restaurant, your tour continues with a visit to Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage site built in 1565 by Empress Haji Begum, wife of Emperor Humayun. It is believed that the design of the Taj Mahal was inspired by this tomb.

In the afternoon, head to Old Delhi, famous for its bustling markets that still reflect the city’s rich history. Visit Jama Masjid, built by Shah Jahan, and the Red Fort (Lal Qila), a massive fortification that took 9 years to complete under Shah Jahan’s reign. Finally, visit Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, where he was cremated.

In the evening, you will be transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, board a train from Delhi Railway Station to Kota, and marvel at India’s vast railway network, the largest in the world. Upon arrival in Kota, you’ll be transferred to your designated heritage hotel. Situated on the eastern bank of the Chambal River, Kota was once part of Bundi under the Rajput Kingdom. It became a separate state in the 17th century.

After freshening up, you will be taken to Kaithoon village, where you can explore small-scale cottage industries, including the famous Kota Doria fabric and handmade sarees. Next, visit the Maharao Madho Singh Museum, which showcases a rich collection of miniature paintings, sculptures, arms, and creative items once used by the royal families of Kota.

Then, head to Kishor Sagar and Jag Mandir, an artificial lake built in 1346. In the center of the lake stands Jag Mandir, a beautiful structure made of red sandstone. You will also visit Kansua Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.

In the evening, enjoy a peaceful walk near the Kota Baggage, an impressive irrigation canal system. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Kota.

After a lavish breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Chittorgarh, famously known as the City of Forts. Here, you’ll visit the magnificent Chittorgarh Fort, an awe-inspiring medieval fortress that stretches over 3 miles in length and rises 495 feet high. The fort stands as a testament to the valor and sacrifice of the Rajput rulers. The history of Chittorgarh is filled with stories of bravery, where the Rajputs fought fiercely against powerful enemies, choosing honor and sacrifice over submission.

The fort was founded by Bappa Rawal, the first ruler of the Sisodia dynasty. Upon arrival in Chittorgarh, you will check into your hotel for a relaxing stay.

After a relaxed breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Udaipur, known as the « City of Lakes » and « The Most Romantic City in India. » Upon arrival, you will check into your pre-booked hotel. Udaipur was founded by Maharaja Udai Singh II in the 15th century and became his capital. Unlike other cities in Rajasthan, Udaipur has no fort, and its beauty is accentuated by hills, gardens, and the many lakes surrounding it.

The city is home to magnificent temples, palaces, and havelis, with the City Palace being the most striking architectural marvel. Situated on a hill overlooking Lake Pichola, the palace offers breathtaking views. Lake Pichola, with its two islands—Jagniwas and Jagmandir—is one of Udaipur’s top attractions.

After checking into the hotel, take some leisure time to relax in a lake-facing room. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola during sunset. From the boat, you’ll get a spectacular view of the city’s landscape. Spend the night at the hotel.

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, embark on a full-day guided sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Your first stop will be the City Palace, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. From the city, it appears as though the whitewashed palace is floating on the serene waters of Lake Pichola. The main sections of the palace are now open to visitors and have been transformed into a museum. Here, you can admire stunning mosaics of peacocks at Mor Chowk, intricate glass and mirror work, and a beautiful collection of miniatures in Krishna Vilas.

Next, visit Jagdish Temple, the largest temple in Udaipur, built by Maharana Jagat Singh. Then, explore Saheliyon Ki Bari, a beautiful garden with lotus pools, flowerbeds, fountains, and marble elephants, designed by Maharana Fateh Singh on the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake.

Proceed to Jag Mandir, a classical-style temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, built by Jagdish Singh. Lastly, visit the Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal, a museum with a rich collection of folk dresses, puppets, masks, dolls, musical instruments, and miniature paintings.

Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Udaipur.

After breakfast, take a short drive to Deogarh. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up. Enjoy some leisure time before heading out to explore the city and its vibrant markets. At 10:00 AM, embark on a rural train ride, a delightful way to experience the local landscape and atmosphere.

Deogarh, located about 140 km northeast of Udaipur and perched at an altitude of 2,100 feet above sea level, offers cooler temperatures compared to other cities in the region. It is known for its historical significance, with the ‘Rawat’ (chief of Deogarh) being one of the sixteen umraos (feudal barons) who served Maharana.

In the evening, immerse yourself in the vibrant Rajasthan atmosphere by enjoying folk dances and tasting traditional cuisine. One of the main attractions in Deogarh is the Deogarh Mahal, a 17th-century palace now converted into a heritage hotel. Standing atop a hill, the palace offers spectacular views of the Aravalli mountain range, lakes, and the surrounding countryside. Deogarh is also famous for its school of miniature painting, a centuries-old art form still practiced today. You can admire beautiful frescoes on the fort walls.

Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Deogarh.

After enjoying a traditional Rajasthani breakfast at the hotel, depart for Rohetgarh, located in the Pali district. Known for having one of the finest heritage hotels in the country, Rohetgarh has been lovingly developed and renovated over the past 15 years by the royal family.

You will arrive in Rohetgarh by late afternoon and check into your hotel. After freshening up, get ready for an exciting jeep safari through the rural villages. This safari will provide you with a unique opportunity to witness the daily life of the local people and observe some fascinating wildlife activities.

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a drive to Pushkar, a sacred place for Hindus. As you travel through the beautiful countryside, you’ll experience the true essence of Rajasthan, with its picturesque landscapes and rural charm.

You will reach Pushkar by late afternoon and check into your hotel. After settling in, head out for a sightseeing tour of Pushkar. Visit the famous Pushkar Lake, also known as Tirthraj, which means « the king of all holy places. » According to Hindu mythology, pilgrims must take a dip in the lake to purify themselves before entering the temple. Next, visit the Brahma Temple, the only temple in the world dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe. It is believed that attempts to build other temples for Lord Brahma have failed.

If time permits, you can also visit the Dargah of Khwaja Moin Ud Din Chisti, located about 20 km from Pushkar.

Spend the night in Pushkar, reflecting on the beauty and spiritual significance of this sacred town.

After breakfast, depart Pushkar for Mandawa, the capital of Rajasthan’s Shekhawati region. This region, encompassing the districts of Sikar and Jhunjhunu, is known for its network of towns like Nawalgarh, Dhundlodh, Mandawa, Lachhmangarh, Fatehpur, and Sikar, and its stunning collection of havelis. These grand residences, dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries, were once the homes of wealthy Marwari business families who enjoyed their leisure time within these elaborately painted walls. Upon arrival in Mandawa, check into your heritage hotel. The afternoon will be spent exploring Dhundlod Town and the surrounding areas of Mandawa, visiting the famous « open art galleries » – the beautifully frescoed havelis that showcase the region’s rich artistic heritage. This morning, embark on an excursion to the majestic Amber Fort with your personal guide. Enjoy a memorable elephant ride up the hill to the fort’s main entrance. This impressive fort, begun by Maharaja Man Singh, was completed during the reign of his descendant, Jai Singh. After exploring Amber Fort, return to the city for lunch. The afternoon is dedicated to sightseeing in Jaipur, beginning with the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory and a landmark of the city. Its construction was initiated by Sawai Jai Singh, a passionate astronomer who made significant contributions to the field of science and technology. Next, visit the City Palace complex, located in the heart of Jaipur. The tour continues to the Hawa Mahal, or « Palace of Winds, » a series of sandstone screens in Tripolia Bazaar. Built for the royal ladies, the Hawa Mahal allowed them to observe daily life and processions without being seen. Return to your hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

This magnificent monument was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who passed away giving birth to their 14th child. Its construction, a testament to enduring love, took 22 years and involved 20,000 artisans and master builders. After breakfast at your hotel, continue your exploration of Agra’s breathtaking Mughal-era sites. Visit Agra Fort, where Shah Jahan spent the last eight years of his life in confinement, and the exquisite Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb, often referred to as the « Baby Taj. » Return to your hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
