Terms and Conditions of Booking with Far Destinations Tours P (Ltd)
By choosing to book with Far Destinations Tours P (Ltd), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking. Your submission of a booking request and/or payment for our services constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms.
1. BOOKINGS
To begin, please complete the Enquiry Form on our website with all required details. Our travel experts will then reach out with tailored recommendations and offers based on your preferences. Please note, a booking is only confirmed once you receive a tour confirmation letter from us after submitting the required advance payment.
2. PAYMENTS
2.1 Deposit
To confirm your reservation, a non-refundable advance payment is required. Once this payment is received, we will issue a confirmation letter.
2.2 Balance Payments
The remaining balance must be paid at least 90 days prior to the trip start date. If the balance payment is not received by the due date, Far Destinations Tours P (Ltd) reserves the right to cancel your booking and retain the advance payment.
2.3 Payment Methods
You may make payments via one of the following methods:
- Bank Transfer: Payments can be made to our Standard Chartered Bank or Axis Bank account.
- SWIFT: International clients may make payments via SWIFT transfer. Please ensure all bank fees are covered, and provide a copy of the transfer report for verification.
- NEFT/RTGS: For domestic payments, we accept NEFT/RTGS transfers. After payment, please send us a copy of the payment advice.
- Cheque / Demand Draft: Indian residents may pay via cheque/demand draft, and must provide a stamped copy of the deposit slip.
- Cash: Local clients may also pay in cash. A receipt will be issued for all cash payments.
- Credit Card: We accept payments through our secure online gateway (Visa, MasterCard). Please note, credit card payments incur an additional fee of 3% + Service Tax. A Credit Card Authorization Form may be required for verification.
2.4 Invoice and Taxes
A service invoice will be issued for all bookings. Please note that the quoted price does not include Service Tax, which is applicable at the prevailing rate.
2.5 Late Bookings
Late bookings may require immediate payment or a higher percentage of the total cost. Such payments are non-refundable.
3. TRAVELLER’S INFORMATION
For reservation purposes, you may be asked to provide personal details, including a copy of your passport and contact information.
4. WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Our tours generally include:
- Accommodation in selected hotels.
- Transportation (private car for independent tours, or coach for group tours).
- Breakfast, and in some cases, additional meals or entertainment.
- Licensed tour guides (English and other languages).
- Some activities such as rickshaw rides, camel rides, or cultural experiences.
4.1 Accommodation
We offer handpicked hotels based on customer feedback and market research. In case of unavailability, we may provide an alternative hotel of a similar standard.
4.2 Vehicles and Drivers
Comfortable, well-maintained vehicles with professional, English-speaking drivers are included in your tour.
4.3 Tour Guides
We provide government-licensed tour guides for sightseeing and ensure that they speak English and other major international languages.
4.4 Meals
Most tours include hotel breakfasts, with some packages offering additional meals, depending on the tour.
4.5 Additional Activities
Special activities (e.g., elephant rides, cultural events) may be included in certain tours. You may request these at an additional cost.
5. WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED
Our tours do not include:
- International airfare, visa fees, travel insurance.
- Personal expenses (e.g., drinks, laundry, phone bills).
- Fees for cameras or videos at monuments and museums.
- Any expenses due to unforeseen circumstances such as strikes, natural disasters, or delays.
6. FLUID PRICING
Prices are subject to change based on availability, exchange rate fluctuations, or changes in hotel/airline policies. Far Destinations Tours P (Ltd) reserves the right to amend the price, offers, or availability at any time.
7. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Upon finalizing your booking and payment, you will receive your travel documents. Kindly review them for accuracy. The original documents will be sent to your arrival port in India.
8. HOTEL CHECK-IN/OUT POLICY
Check-in is typically from 2:00 PM, and check-out is by 12:00 PM. Early check-ins and late check-outs are subject to hotel availability and may incur additional charges.
9. AMENDMENTS OR EXTENSIONS
Any amendments to your booking are subject to availability. Additional expenses due to amendments will be borne by the customer.
10. CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations must be made in writing (email or fax). For group bookings, cancellations must be made at least 90 days prior to departure; for individual bookings, at least 60 days.
Cancellation Fees:
- Less than 8 travellers:
- 60 days before: Loss of deposit
- 45–59 days before: 25% of total cost
- 31–44 days before: 50% of total cost
- 30 days or less before: 100% of total cost
- More than 8 travellers:
- 90 days before: Loss of deposit
- 60–89 days before: 25% of total cost
- 45–59 days before: 50% of total cost
- 45 days or less before: 100% of total cost
11. PRICE CHANGES
We reserve the right to change or withdraw any prices or deals without prior notice. Prices may vary based on group size or other factors.
12. EXCLUSION FROM THE TOUR
We may exclude any traveller from the tour if their behavior jeopardizes the safety of others or violates the tour’s policies. Any unused services will not be refunded.
13. REFUND POLICY
Refunds will be processed within 30 days of cancellation, once all supplier refunds (airlines, hotels, etc.) are received. Refunds will be issued via bank transfer or cheque.
14. UNUTILIZED SERVICES
Once the trip has commenced, no refund is available for unused services. We will assist in obtaining refunds from service providers, but they will be issued to your bank account once received.
15. SPECIAL OFFERS
Discounts or special offers cannot be combined with other offers. These offers may be modified or withdrawn without notice and are not applicable for peak seasons, luxury train journeys, or other specified exclusions.
