Delightful Rajasthan
Arrive in Delhi and embark on a half-day sightseeing tour of the city to explore some of its famous landmarks. The next day, drive to Mandawa, situated in Rajasthan’s Shekhawati district, known for its stunning frescoes and havelis. Upon reaching Mandawa, visit the iconic Mandawa Castle before heading to Bikaner, also known as the ‘Camel Country of Rajasthan.’ In Bikaner, explore the Lalgarh Palace, Bhanda Sagar Jain Temple, and the renowned Deshnok Temple.
Next, drive to Khimsar, a charming village located at the edge of the Great Indian Thar Desert. Enjoy the captivating views of Khimsar Fort and experience live folk dance performances. Continue your journey to Jodhpur, where you will have a full day of sightseeing, visiting historical and cultural landmarks. On your way to Jodhpur, stop by Ajmer and Pushkar; Ajmer is famous for the Dargah of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, while Pushkar is known for its sacred Pushkar Lake.
Finally, explore the artistic towns of Kishangarh and Kuchaman before heading to Jaipur, the Pink City, where you can admire the magnificent Rajput-era architecture. Don’t forget to take a leisurely stroll through Jaipur’s bustling local markets, where you can shop for exquisite souvenirs to take home.

Upon arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted and assisted with your transfer to the hotel for check-in. After a wash and change, embark on a half-day city sightseeing tour, visiting some of Delhi’s iconic landmarks: the India Gate (a memorial for soldiers who died in World War I), the President’s House (Rashtrapati Bhawan), the Parliament House (the office of the government head), Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, and the Laxmi Narayan Temple. Enjoy an overnight stay in Delhi.

In the morning, drive to Mandawa, with an en route visit to Mukundgarh Fort, located in the Shekhawati district of Rajasthan. This historic fort offers a glimpse into the region’s heritage. After the visit, continue your drive to Mandawa and check into the hotel upon arrival. Mandawa, founded in 1775 by Thakur N. Singh, still remains the residence of his descendants, known for its stunning frescoes, havelis, and mansions. In the afternoon, enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Mandawa, visiting Mandawa Fort, now known as Mandawa Castle. This fort is one of Rajasthan’s premium palaces and houses a collection of arsenals, costumes of royal family members, and a large cannon in its museum. Overnight stay is in Mandawa.

Located on the edge of the Thar Desert, the fort dates back to the 16th century and is still home to the descendants of the Khimsar Thakurs. Originally built as a military structure, the fort now serves as one of the country’s top heritage hotels. Begin your sightseeing with a visit to Mehrangarh Fort, situated atop a low sandstone hill, offering stunning views of the city. The fort is home to remarkable architectural structures, including Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada, located right next to the fort. On your return to Jaipur, visit some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the City Palace, Jantar Mantar (the Observatory), and the famous Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds.

Today, drive from Jaipur to Delhi, the capital city of India. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up. Afterward, head out for a city tour exploring the different parts of Delhi, which reflect various phases of its history.
Delhi is divided into two parts: Old Delhi and New Delhi. The older part of the city is bustling and home to remarkable monuments from the past, such as the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, and the colorful Chandni Chowk market. As you move towards New Delhi, you’ll encounter wide open spaces, beautiful gardens, and modern buildings. Visit colonial-era structures like the President’s House and Parliament House, and drive past India Gate, a memorial dedicated to soldiers who died in World War I.
Another prominent Mughal monument is Humayun’s Tomb, an exemplary piece of Mughal architecture. Finally, visit Qutub Minar, the tallest stone tower in India. In the evening, indulge in some shopping at the various shopping arcades of the city.
