Marwar Festival, Jodhpur

The Sun City of Rajasthan, Jodhpur, hosts the Marwar Festival, also known as the Maand Festival, during the month of Ashwin (September to October). This two-day festival honors the folk heroes of Rajasthan and showcases the vibrant folk music and dance of the Marwar region, reflecting the lifestyle of the former royal rulers. A highlight of the event is the Maand performance, a traditional form of music. Other exciting attractions include the Camel Tattoo Show and Camel Polo. The majestic Umaid Bhavan Palace, Mandore, and Mehrangarh Fort provide the perfect backdrop for this cultural celebration.
