Max Holidays warmly welcomes you to Delhi! Upon your arrival at the airport, our representative will be waiting just outside with a placard bearing your name. After a traditional Indian greeting, you will be transferred to your hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Enjoy a restful night at the hotel.

Today, we kick off our Golden Triangle tour with the vibrant capital of India, Delhi. Delhi beautifully blends Mughal architecture in the old part of the city and British (Victorian) influences in the new. After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we’ll begin our guided sightseeing tour, starting with Old Delhi. We’ll drive past the iconic Red Fort, built by Shah Jahan when he moved his capital from Agra to Delhi. This fort mirrors the one in Agra. Next, we’ll stop at the Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, where Muslims gather every Friday for prayers.
Following our visit to Jama Masjid, we’ll hop on a colorful, decorated Rickshaw (a tricycle) to explore the vibrant lanes of Old Delhi. The rickshaw ride offers a glimpse of Delhi’s heritage and culture as we weave through bustling streets filled with shops selling suits, saris, and local snacks.
After a delightful lunch at a local restaurant or hotel, we’ll head to New Delhi, passing by the India Gate and President’s Palace. Our next stops are two magnificent monuments—Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb—both stunning examples of Mughal architecture. In the evening, you may opt to visit the Lotus Temple, renowned for its flower-like shape and peaceful gardens.
We’ll then return to the hotel in Delhi for an overnight stay.

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we’ll embark on our journey to Jaipur, traveling along one of India’s most scenic and well-maintained freeways. Known as the « Pink City, » Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan and a major tourist destination, famous for its rich history, vibrant culture, stunning historical monuments, bustling bazaars, and the warmth of its people.
Upon arrival in Jaipur, we will check into the hotel, where you can freshen up and relax. Later, step out to explore the local streets and markets, where you can indulge in the city’s famous street foods and shop for unique souvenirs. Jaipur is renowned for its precious and semi-precious stones, intricate handicrafts, textiles, carpets, and exquisite jewelry.
In the evening, we will head to a local restaurant for a delightful dinner, accompanied by a traditional cultural dance performance and an engaging puppet show.

After breakfast, we begin our exploration of the vibrant city of Jaipur. Our first stop is the majestic Amber Fort, located 11 kilometers from the city. Here, you will experience the royal charm of Jaipur as you ride an elephant to the entrance gate of the fort, feeling like royalty. Once we arrive, a local guide will lead us through the fort, sharing its rich history and intricate architecture.
Next, we’ll visit the Jaigarh Fort, which overlooks Amber Fort. This fort was built to protect the city, and its impressive cannons, which date back to the past, remain a fascinating attraction to this day.
We will then continue our journey into Jaipur city, where we will visit the iconic Hawa Mahal, the « Wind Palace, » designed for the royal ladies to observe the bustling city life from behind its many windows. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant and stroll through the vibrant markets.
In the afternoon, we will visit the City Palace Museum and the Jantar Mantar Observatory, both of which showcase Jaipur’s rich history and scientific advancements.
In the evening, relax and unwind at the hotel.

After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we embark on a scenic drive towards Agra, the city of the iconic Taj Mahal and once the capital of the Mughal Empire. En route, we will visit the Abhaneri step wells, large structures built in the 8th-9th century to store rainwater. Nearby, we’ll also explore the Harshat Mata Temple, adding a touch of spirituality to our journey.
Continuing our drive to Agra, we will make a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a once-thriving city now in ruins. Built by Emperor Akbar, this city was intended to be his capital but was abandoned due to a severe water shortage. After our visit to Fatehpur Sikri, we will proceed to Agra and check into your hotel.
Special Note: In the evening, we have the option to attend the ‘Mohabbat-e-Taj’ show, a captivating 80-minute performance that narrates the love story behind the creation of the Taj Mahal. This show is available from October to April.

Today, we start the day early to witness the breathtaking view of the Taj Mahal at sunrise. This iconic monument, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, is a true masterpiece. Your guide will provide insights into the history and intricacies of the Taj Mahal during the visit. After exploring this architectural marvel, we will return to the hotel for a wash and breakfast.
After a relaxed breakfast, we continue our sightseeing with a visit to the impressive Agra Fort, built by Emperor Akbar using red sandstone. Later, in the afternoon, we will visit the Itmad-Ud-Daulah’s Tomb, often referred to as the « Baby Taj. » This beautiful marble monument, commissioned by Queen Noor Jahan in 1628 for her father, is renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship.
In the evening, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Agra.

In the early morning, our representative will assist you to the Agra train station to board your super-fast train to Jhansi. A packed breakfast will be provided by the railway authorities during the journey. Upon arrival at Jhansi train station, we will drive to the historic village of Orchha and check into our heritage-style hotel. After a wash and change, we will begin our local sightseeing tour of Orchha, once the capital of the Bundela rulers.
Unlike many other forts and palaces in India, the Orchha forts and temples exude a unique simplicity yet possess undeniable charm. Among the most notable are the Jehangir Mahal, built by Raja Bir Singh Deo to commemorate the visit of Mughal Emperor Jehangir, the Raj Mahal, and the Laxmi Narayan Temple, renowned for its beautiful frescoes and wall paintings. The evening will be free for you to explore the local surroundings at your leisure.

After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Khajuraho, the city renowned for its temples that celebrate love and romance through intricate erotic sculptures. Upon arrival in Khajuraho, check into your hotel. After freshening up, we will begin our sightseeing tour of the Western and Eastern groups of temples. The complex is home to several iconic temples such as the Kandariya Temple, Vishvanath Temple, Lakshmana Temple, Chaturbhuja Temple, and Jagdambi Temple, among others.
In the evening, we will enjoy the captivating sound and light show at the Western Group of temples. The 50-minute show, narrated by the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, brings to life the fascinating history of these 10th-century architectural marvels. Afterward, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
