Upon reaching the parking area, we will hop onto a decorated Tonga (horse or camel cart), which will take us to the entrance of this breathtaking monument. Explore the Taj Mahal on foot, marveling at its exquisite white marble craftsmanship and learning about the timeless love story of Emperor Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal.
After this unforgettable experience, return to the hotel for a leisurely breakfast. Post breakfast, continue your exploration with a visit to the Agra Fort, a stunning blend of Mughal and Hindu architecture. Built of red sandstone, this massive fort sits on the banks of the Yamuna River and was once the residence of the Mughal emperors. It also served as the prison of Shah Jahan, confined by his son Aurangzeb, where he spent his final years gazing at the Taj Mahal from a small window.
