Tour Itinerary

Upon arrival at Delhi airport, you will be greeted by a Max Holidays representative who will assist you to your car for a transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Relax and enjoy your overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full-day tour exploring some of Delhi’s most iconic temples and historical landmarks. Start with a visit to the Birla Temple, also known as the Laxmi Narayan Temple, located in New Delhi. Then, drive past India Gate, a war memorial, and Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of the President of India.

Next, head to Old Delhi, where you’ll pass by the 16th-century Red Fort, built by Shah Jahan, before stopping at Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, located opposite the Red Fort. After a break for lunch, continue your tour with a visit to Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage site from the 15th century.

In the afternoon, visit the stunning Lotus Temple, also known as the Baha’i Temple, which welcomes worshippers from all religions. In the evening, conclude your day with a visit to the Akshardham Temple, dedicated to Bhagwan Swaminarayan, a beautiful example of Indian art, culture, and architecture.

Early in the morning, you will be transferred to the Delhi train station where our representative will assist you in boarding your train and ensure you are comfortably seated in your coach. Upon arrival at Haridwar railway station, our representative will assist you with your transfer to a car and take you to your pre-booked camp or ashram in Rishikesh.

In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour of Rishikesh, visiting iconic landmarks such as Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Muni Ki Reti. We will also explore renowned Yoga and Meditation centers, including Shivanand Ashram, Omkarananda Patanjali Ashram, and Parmarth Niketan Ashram. After some time spent wandering through Rishikesh’s popular tourist spots, we will head to the ghats of the holy river Ganges in the evening to attend the traditional aarti (candle worship) ceremony.

Spend the next few days at the ashram, immersed in the tranquil environment of Rishikesh, focusing on Meditation and Yoga. The daily schedule is as follows:

After an early breakfast at the Ashram, we will proceed to Haridwar for a temple visit. Haridwar, a significant Hindu pilgrimage site and the starting point of the Chardham Yatra, is believed to purify one’s soul through a holy dip in the river Ganges. In Haridwar, we will visit the famous Chandi Devi Temple and Mansa Devi Temple, accessible via a scenic cable car ride. Spend the afternoon exploring the area at your leisure, enjoying heritage walks through this spiritually rich town.

In the evening, we will board the Shatabdi Express train to Delhi. Upon arrival at the Delhi train station, our representative will meet you and assist you to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our journey to Agra, famously known as the city of the Taj Mahal. Upon arrival in Agra, we will check into our hotel for a quick freshen up. Once you’re ready, we will begin our sightseeing tour with our guide, starting with Agra Fort, a magnificent structure built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. The fort served as Akbar’s residence and the site where he met with officials and the public. Its stunning rooms and grand courtyards showcase the brilliance of Mughal architecture.

Next, we will visit Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb, also known as the « Baby Taj, » built in the 16th century in white marble as a tribute to Noor Jahan’s father, Mirza Ghiyas Beg. Afterward, we will head to the iconic Taj Mahal, the most awaited highlight of the tour. This symbol of love and devotion was constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal, completed after 22 years of meticulous construction, is even more magical when viewed under the moonlight.

We will conclude our day and stay overnight at the hotel in Agra.

For an unforgettable experience, you may choose to visit the Taj Mahal early in the morning to witness the stunning sunrise view. After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Jaipur, with a stop en route at Fatehpur Sikri, the former Mughal capital. Here, we will explore key historical sites such as the Buland Darwaja, the Tomb of Salim Chishti, the Hall of Public Audiences, and the Hall of Private Audiences.

Next, we will drive to Abhaneri, a village known for its grand stepwells and ancient temple. This rural area offers a unique opportunity to experience Rajasthani culture up close. Afterward, we will continue our journey to Jaipur, where we will check into the hotel. In the evening, we will visit the local markets of Jaipur before heading to a traditional restaurant to enjoy a theme dinner accompanied by a captivating cultural folk dance and puppet show.

Today, we will embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur, starting with a visit to the majestic Amber Fort, a historic stronghold of the Kachwaha dynasty. To reach the top of the fort, we will enjoy an elephant ride, offering a unique way to ascend. Once at the top, a knowledgeable guide will lead us through the fort, showcasing its beautifully decorated rooms, intricate glasswork, and the blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles.

Next, we will explore the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a stunning structure with numerous windows, and the City Palace Museum, the royal residence of Jaipur’s royal family. The palace has been partially converted into a museum, displaying a collection of historical artifacts and monuments.

In the evening, we’ll have time to wander through the local markets, where you can shop for Jaipur’s renowned jewelry and handicrafts. After a day full of exploration, we will return to the hotel for an overnight stay before heading back to Delhi.
