Tour Itinerary

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly greeted by a representative from Max Holidays, who will assist you to your car for a transfer to your pre-booked hotel. You can relax and enjoy your overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Delhi, a vibrant city that serves as both the political and cultural heart of India. Our first stop is the Qutub Minar, a stunning 74-meter high tower built with red sandstone and white marble, showcasing Persian architectural style. Next, we visit the Humayun’s Tomb, a 15th-century masterpiece built by his widow Bega Begum in memory of the Mughal ruler. We will also drive past Raj Ghat, the site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.

In the afternoon, we explore the historical Old Delhi, starting with the Red Fort, constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan. We’ll then visit the Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, also built by Shah Jahan. Afterward, take a cycle rickshaw ride through the bustling streets of Chandni Chowk, where you’ll experience the lively markets, colorful textiles, spice shops, and street food stalls. Finally, we drive through New Delhi, passing iconic landmarks such as the India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and Connaught Place.

After an early breakfast, we will drive to Agra, traveling along one of India’s finest highways. Agra, once the capital of the Mughal Empire, is home to magnificent Mughal architecture and style. Upon arrival, we’ll check into the hotel for a quick refresh before starting our guided sightseeing tour.

Our first stop is the Agra Fort, a historical fort that served as the residence of Emperor Akbar in the 15th century. Later, it was the prison of Emperor Shah Jahan, who was imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb. From here, we’ll visit the Itmad-ud-Daula Tomb, built by Noor Jahan, wife of Shah Jahan, in tribute to her father. In the evening, we will head to the Taj Mahal for a sunset visit — one of the most awaited moments of the trip. As the sun sets, the color of the Taj Mahal’s dome changes, offering a stunning display that can be admired and photographed. Our guide will take us through the monument, sharing the fascinating history and untold stories behind this iconic structure. We will then return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Agra.

At sunrise, you have the option to visit the Taj Mahal and enjoy the serene beauty of the monument, taking time to capture stunning photographs or simply relax in the peaceful gardens. Afterward, we’ll return to the hotel for a delicious breakfast.

Following breakfast, we’ll drive towards Jaipur. En route, we will stop at Fatehpur Sikri, also known as the « Ghost Town, » a city abandoned due to a lack of water. Built by Mughal Emperor Akbar as his new capital, it was eventually deserted because the city couldn’t sustain its inhabitants due to water scarcity. After exploring the ruins, we’ll continue our journey to Jaipur, the capital and largest city of Rajasthan. Upon arrival, we’ll check into a heritage hotel. In the afternoon, we’ll take a leisurely stroll through the city’s vibrant markets, where you can sample street food or local delicacies. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Rajasthani dinner at a local restaurant, accompanied by a cultural dance performance.

After an early breakfast, we will embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur, beginning with a visit to the magnificent Amber Fort, located on the outskirts of the city. Upon arrival, we will take a ride on the back of an elephant to reach the entrance gate of the fort. Once inside, our guide will show us the key attractions, including Diwaan-e-Aam (Hall of Audience), Diwaan-e-Khaas (Hall of Private Audience), Sukh Niwaas (Sukh Mandir), and the stunning Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace).

Next, we’ll drive into the city for more sightseeing. After lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll visit the City Palace Museum, where you can admire artifacts, weapons, and the royal attire of kings and queens. Then, we’ll explore Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory, and Hawa Mahal, the iconic « Palace of Winds. » In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk through the gardens and local markets before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to Jaipur airport to catch your flight to Srinagar, with a stopover in Delhi. Upon arrival at Srinagar, you will be greeted by our representative and escorted to your deluxe houseboat or hotel. Srinagar, the capital of Kashmir, is renowned for its stunning lakes, temples, valleys, and gardens.

After enjoying lunch on the houseboat, we’ll embark on a serene Shikara ride on Dal Lake. During the ride, you’ll have the chance to admire the floating lotus flowers, lilies, and vegetable gardens. In the evening, indulge in a delicious dinner on the houseboat and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay.

After breakfast on the houseboat, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Srinagar, often referred to as « Paradise on Earth. » Start with a visit to Nishat Bagh, the largest Mughal garden, built in the 16th century by Asif Khan. Next, head to Shalimar Bagh, a stunning garden created by Emperor Jahangir for his beloved wife, Empress Noor Jahan. Then, visit the ancient Shankaracharya Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and built in the 3rd century by Raja Gopadatya. After exploring these historic sites, take some time to leisurely wander around the lake area. In the evening, return to the houseboat for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast on the houseboat, we will embark on a day excursion to Sonmarg, situated at an altitude of 2,730 meters. The majestic snow-covered mountains make this destination truly captivating. The highlight of the trip is the Thajiwas Glacier, where you can hire a pony or yak to get closer to the glacier. After exploring, we will drive back to our houseboats in Srinagar for an overnight stay.

After breakfast on the houseboat, we will drive to Gulmarg, often referred to as the ‘Meadows of Flowers.’ Known for its highest and most beautiful golf course, the area is also adorned with grassy slopes covered in wildflowers. In winter, Gulmarg becomes a popular destination for skiing. One of the main attractions is the Gondola cable car ride, which takes you from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg. Upon arrival, check into the resort and begin exploring the area. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel in Gulmarg.

Upon arrival, check into your hotel. After freshening up, visit the Lidder River, Sheshnag Lake, Kolohoi Glacier, and the ruins of Awantipura. Enjoy the sightseeing and return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
